KnottyTrunk is a legacy inspired by family and working with your hands. Growing up my grandfather was always making amazing creations out of wood. I would watch him for hours gaining the love he had for building something out of nothing. When he passed away I wanted to do something to honor his memory. Starting with his old tools and left-over wood, I began making a few cutting boards and found such peace in sharing this same interest as he did. Over time I began to challenge myself to make more complicated pieces. Now I hope to share with others my passion of making art out of wood and the beauty of creating something from nothing.
